Welcome!
For me, writing and reading go hand-in-hand. Writing may be imperative, but reading is a given, like breathing. What I read, I usually think about, though not always (some reading is pure fun!). After I think about it, I usually want to write about it!
But sometimes I feel doubtful about writing at all (what’s the point?). So I remember one of my favorite quotations from Madeleine L’Engle’s book, A Circle of Quiet: “It’s all been said before. If I thought I had to say it better than anyone else, I’d never start.”
My hope is that others may be encouraged by reading what I write.
